Financial Leadership Role

T2 Group is a well-established, privately owned SME, which has grown to be one of the leading providers of Apprenticeships and Vocational Training Qualifications in the UK.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to implement forward-thinking financial practices, manage large-scale contracts, and adapt to new funding regulations, ensuring both personal and professional growth in a dynamic and impactful environment.

Leadership & Team Management: Lead the finance team, providing direction and fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee recruitment, coaching, and resource planning to align with strategic goals.

Financial Planning and Operations: Manage the financial planning and budgeting processes, oversee month-end accounts, forecasting, payroll, and audits, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and efficient cash flow management.

Commercial: Drive the successful delivery of contracts and tenders, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with regulatory changes.

Auditing & Compliance: Lead internal and external audits, maintaining compliance with funding bodies, Department for Education (DfE) audits, and health & safety regulations.

Business Partnering: Analyse the financial climate, key data and trends to support the senior leadership teams and Executive Board in creating strategic plans for the future.

Requirements:

  • A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Proven experience in a Financial leadership role
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
  • Proficiency in accounting software
