Asset and Wealth Management:

At Goldman Sachs, we empower clients and customers worldwide to achieve their financial goals through our Asset and Wealth Management division.

The Private Wealth Management (PWM) business within this division provides personalized investment management services and advice across a broad range of asset classes for high-net-worth individuals.

PWM leverages a cutting-edge technology platform, an integrated suite of tools, and applications to deliver exceptional client service and help clients realize their goals and objectives.

Wealth Management (WM) Client Onboarding Engineering Team:

The WM Client Onboarding platform is a complex system comprising multiple systems required to onboard high-net-worth clients for the WM business, securely manage their data, and run necessary KYC requirements across jurisdictions globally.

The team, based in offices across the US, UK, and India, is building a highly scalable, distributed, low-latency onboarding application that provides a unified client experience across various divisions in AWM.

We use technologies including ReactJS, Java, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn new technologies and languages to contribute meaningfully to delivering new business and regulatory initiatives.
  • Engage deeply with a global team to design and build onboarding capabilities, including fault tolerance, availability, operational excellence, and test automation.
  • Work with users to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Be a best practices champion and drive better coding hygiene in the team.
  • Collaborate closely with SMEs to design and develop new features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in major object-oriented programming languages like Java, Go, C#, etc.
  • 1+ years of experience in Microservices using REST.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Financial Services/Industry.
  • Working with global teams.
  • Knowledge of one or more NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB and Elastic Search.
