About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Pool Technical Manager to join our Facilities team at Butlin's Bognor Regis.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our Splash Waterworld, Hotel Spa facility, and all wet interactive areas. This will involve implementing and following a planned preventative maintenance strategy, carrying out chemical control and stock management, and covering all technical management of our large wet spa areas, outside water features, wet play areas, and ponds.

You will also be responsible for managing contractors, maintaining a specialist routine with regards to maintenance planning, and liaising with the Facilities Leadership team to address day-to-day challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and follow a planned preventative maintenance strategy to ensure the smooth operation of our waterpark facilities.
  • Carry out chemical control and stock management to maintain the highest standards of water quality.
  • Manage contractors and maintain a specialist routine with regards to maintenance planning.
  • Liaise with the Facilities Leadership team to address day-to-day challenges and ensure the effective operation of our facilities.
  • Work closely with the team to deliver the highest possible standards of service and ensure a safe working environment.
About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a facilities environment, preferably with a mechanical or electrical qualification. You should have a good working knowledge of swimming pool technical policies and a Pool Plant Manager's License is desirable but not essential.

You should also have a passion for self-development, a willingness to learn, and strong communication skills. If you have enthusiasm for change, the initiative to implement improvements, and a flexible approach to working hours, we would love to hear from you.
