As a principal consultant at RPA Ltd, you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. With over 34 years of experience in policy consultancy, our team has innovatively pushed forward the boundaries of how impact assessments and evaluations are carried out.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team. You will have excellent project management and organisational skills, with experience in scoping, planning, monitoring, and leading relevant projects for public or private sector clients within budget and time constraints.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in environmental science, marine/ocean science/biology, marine conservation, fisheries science, marine biology, or similar. They will also have detailed knowledge of marine and/or fisheries, including current issues and challenges, as well as policies, programmes, and strategies that address these issues.
You will be interacting with private businesses, therefore an understanding of Confidential Business Information and how to treat, aggregate, and share confidential data is essential. Additionally, you may have experience applying economic or value for money assessments, ecosystem services, and/or natural capital as applied to the marine environment.
Salary and BenefitsWe operate a transparent pay policy, and salary is based on relevant experience. Our benefits package includes up to 38 days holiday per year, equity in the business after six months, private healthcare from day one, a five percent pension contribution, enhanced family policies, twenty days full sick pay, and five times salary death in service cover.
