About the Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity to work as a Quantity Surveyor within a fantastic team, delivering varied projects in the infrastructure industry.

You will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating client contracts, managing contractual changes, and issuing quotes for instructions, working closely with project teams to resolve commercial issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and negotiate client contracts
  • Manage contractual changes using EWN and Compensation event processes
  • Draft and negotiate subcontracts
  • Undertake associated administration, including change management
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • An appropriate degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience in an engineering and technical environment
  • Membership of a relevant professional body
  • Extensive knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts (NEC3 & NEC4) and sound working knowledge of construction and contract law
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office packages
  • Strong client and supplier communication and negotiation skills
