Cyber Security Manager Role Summary

Fruition IT is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Manager to lead security initiatives and safeguard information assets across a dynamic, multi-cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cyber security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with evolving threats.
  • Lead the creation and execution of the organisation's cyber security strategy to meet business and IT objectives.
  • Establish a robust cyber risk management framework, identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Work closely with compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO27001).
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and SOC collaboration.
  • Provide hands-on leadership to a team of security analysts and third-party resources.
  • Conduct security awareness training across the organisation and chair monthly security meetings with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cyber security in a regulated environment, ideally in financial services.
  • Expertise in security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls, ISO27001) and current cyber threats.
  • Specialist experience with Azure cloud security and familiarity with multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing third-party vendors for security services.
