We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a Senior Paediatric Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to children and young people with hearing impairments, as well as leading and developing our paediatric audiology services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive audiological assessments and diagnoses for children and young people with hearing impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address hearing loss and related communication difficulties.
- Lead and manage a team of audiologists and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including paediatricians, speech therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care for children and young people with hearing impairments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of audiology policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of paediatric audiology.
- Master's degree in Audiology or a related field.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Audiologist.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in paediatric audiology, with a strong background in clinical practice and leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of audiologists and support staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
