About the Company

Our client is a forward-thinking law firm seeking a seasoned professional to lead their legal practice. As a full-time Head of Legal Practice & Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be responsible for overseeing the firm's compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling client complaints and ensuring timely resolutions
  • Implementing and maintaining KYC and money laundering procedures
  • Overseeing regulatory compliance to maintain SRA authorization
  • Conducting firm-wide risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
  • Delivering in-house regulatory training and developing internal compliance policies
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Conveyancing and Directors on compliance matters
  • Providing regular status reports on the firm's compliance arrangements
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 4 years PQE
  • Experience in a compliance-related capacity within a legal practice
  • Ability to provide comprehensive reports to the Management Team
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance changes
