Essex County Council is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Specialist to join our team in Chelmsford. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality services for adults.

This is a part-time opportunity working 28.5 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £18,790 to £23,979 per annum. The successful candidate will be an experienced carer with a flexible and reliable approach to work.

You will work collaboratively with adults, their families, and other professionals in a residential home environment. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals in accordance with their care plans, ensuring access to social and leisure activities according to their needs and wishes.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a social care setting and working within a team environment. A willingness to undertake training in manual handling, first aid awareness, food hygiene, risk and conflict management, data protection, and health and safety is essential.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer full training and induction. If your role requires a DBS check, you will be required to register with the DBS update service.
