A highly skilled Technical Support Specialist is required to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key role in our project execution strategy, providing expert technical guidance and hands-on support to ensure the seamless integration of our façade systems into projects.

Technical Support Specialist Position Overview
  1. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of façade systems supplied by our company.
  2. Provide technical support and guidance on site for façade-related products supplied.
  3. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
  4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to coordinate and optimise installation processes.
  5. Troubleshoot complex technical issues on site, offering timely and effective solutions.
  6. Develop and implement training programs for site teams to enhance their technical skills and product knowledge.
  7. Support customers with toolbox talks and pre-start site meetings.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements, new materials, and technological innovations.
  9. Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Manage customer relationships through regular updates and follow-up on concerns.
  11. Liaise with our suppliers to upskill and increase product and system knowledge to further help site teams.
  12. Engage with and support the NPD process using extensive on-site experience.
Technical Support Specialist Position Requirements
  1. Background in the façades market with extensive experience on-site and managing installation of façade / curtain walling systems.
  2. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction and architects' drawings and specifications.
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and work colleagues.
  4. Build relationships with suppliers.
  5. Collaborate closely with the design team to address flaws, suggest improvements, and offer potential solutions.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Autocad preferable.
  7. Strong organisational skills and effective time management to meet established deadlines.
  8. Team player with a drive for success.
  9. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to extract crucial information.
Technical Support Specialist Position Remuneration
  1. Starting salary £45,000 - £55,000
  2. 28 Days holiday (including Bank Holidays, plus additional days for long service)
