About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to older adults. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care physiotherapy, with experience in managing patients with frailty, falls risk, and other complex conditions. You will be confident in your ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with complex medical and physical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Physiotherapy (MSc or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in acute care physiotherapy
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of complex medical and physical conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, with a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
