At HB People Recruitment & HR Specialists, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Operative to join our team. As a Service Operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our depot with daily tasks and ensuring the maintenance and repair of our hire fleet at customer locations and sites.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure the safe working procedures at all times, adhering to company health and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections, services, and repairs of trailers and hire fleet, identifying potential hazards and taking corrective action.
- Complete relevant inspection paperwork for all assets worked on, accurately documenting fair wear and tear and customer damage.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping, ensuring all areas are clean and organized.
- A full driving license with no more than 6 points is mandatory.
- No experience is required, as full training will be provided.
- Desirable experience includes basic electrical knowledge, use of hand and power tools, and a basic knowledge of traffic light equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to react to changing demands in a professional manner.
- Resourceful and excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering an excellent customer experience.
- A person who prioritizes the safety of themselves and others, with a strong sense of responsibility.
