We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at a special school based in the Guildford area.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an engaging, inclusive, and creative English curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

This special school caters for students aged 10 to 16 and offers a bespoke approach to learning that focuses on helping students grow in self-confidence and prepare them for their next steps in life.

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for developing a supportive classroom environment, assessing and tracking student progress, and using innovative approaches to help students overcome barriers to learning.

The ideal candidate will have teaching qualifications, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), excellent classroom practice, and a passion for working in a SEMH School.

The school offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including professional development opportunities, enhanced parental leave schemes, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
