About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Operating a variety of cleaning equipment
- Emptying bins and recycling
- Dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Working on your own initiative and as part of a team
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to communicate with customers and managers whilst complying with Health & Safety regulations.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive hourly rate, plus Sunday premium, and a range of benefits including 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme and Defined Contribution pension scheme plus car parking.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Part time, 15 hours per week, Thursday - Saturday

What Happens Next?
After you apply, your application will be reviewed and if you are successful you will be invited to a telephone assessment. This call will last around 15-20 minutes, consisting of 7 questions. There will not be a face to face interview in this process.
