About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Manager to join our team at Barchester Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the culinary services in one of our care homes, working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Hospitality Manager at Barchester, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, while also developing your skills and career as part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the culinary services in the care home, including menu planning and preparation.
  • Lead the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dining experiences for residents.
  • Manage the kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to improve resident satisfaction and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality management or equivalent role in a care home or hospitality setting.
  • City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
