The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of art techniques, tools, and materials, with the ability to handle, modify, and repair equipment. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students, are essential. A proactive approach to health and safety, ensuring a secure environment for all practical activities, is also required. Enthusiasm for supporting young people in their creative pursuits is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves preparing, maintaining, and organising art equipment and materials to support practical lessons. You will assist teachers and students during lessons by demonstrating safe equipment use and providing technical advice. Ensuring all tools, materials, and facilities meet safety standards and are well-maintained is also crucial. Additionally, you will support students' practical projects and offer feedback to enhance their learning experience. Contributing to school-wide events such as exhibitions, open days, and extracurricular activities is also expected.
About the School:
