Job Title: Data & Analytics Business Architect

Location: Flexible working arrangements available, including hybrid and remote options.

Salary: Up to £69,000 depending on skills and experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Analytics Business Architect to join our team at BAE Systems (New). As a key member of our data and analytics architecture team, you will be responsible for creating a business architecture framework that articulates end-to-end business requirements and data flows across our key functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a Business Architecture framework that depicts how our functions meet their Data & Analytical goals to create business capability roadmaps.
  • Develop a Data & Analytics benefits framework and maintain the D&A business architecture framework.
  • Perform functional decomposition of the business operating model and develop high-level information exchange requirements.
  • Establish a Business Architecture Community of Practice to guide and mentor business analysts.
  • Perform business capability analysis and facilitate capability maturity management across the enterprise.
  • Govern and manage architecture collateral and enforce change management policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within a business architecture background.
  • Ability to communicate complex business architecture across multiple functions and senior leadership teams.
  • Significant knowledge of data management, archiving, storage, and ingestion approaches/technologies.
