Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate events and activities to support our directors, with a focus on understanding barriers to engagement and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support and develop a function-specific internal communications strategy.
  • Plan and manage the development and delivery of a programme of external and/or internal events that supports our business strategy, capability, and engagement.
  • Prove the success and impact of each engagement by demonstrating how the event performed, seeking feedback, and setting out clear engagement metrics prior to the event taking place.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, adhere to Bupa's corporate and UK policies, and internal operating procedures, ensuring that risk is managed in line with Bupa's UK risk appetite.

Requirements:

  • Experience of successfully leading a team to plan and deliver corporate events.
  • A high degree of energy, drive, and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent project management, planning, and organisational abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a positive persuasive manner, capable of bringing others along with them.
  • Creative experience and flair, with a strong understanding and empathy with Bupa's brand values.
  • Experience in managing and developing budgets.
