Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of young people in our residential children's homes, promoting their holistic growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of young people in our residential children's homes, focusing on their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
  • Implement individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Maintain high standards of personal care and hygiene, adhering to risk assessments and placement plans.
  • Support educational activities, social events, and trips, ensuring the safety and well-being of young people.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective communication strategies, empowering young people to make informed decisions.
Requirements
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A professional who is resilient, patient, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
  • Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
