Role SummaryThe Operations Director will be responsible for delivering high-quality administration services, adhering to best practices and establishing operational excellence standards. This role will lead the charge in driving operational improvements, enhancing service quality, and managing risk effectively.
This position will follow a hybrid working pattern aligned with our Chichester offices.
- Identify areas for productivity and utilisation trend improvement.
- Review NPS themes across processes and propose local and scheme-specific changes in collaboration with the wider team.
- Monitor rework rates, E&Os, complaints, and identify trends to address with the team and feed national themes through the internal network.
- Flag potential breaches in disclosure cases locally and ensure adherence to timetables for cyclical and legislative tasks. Collaborate with the team to address trends through process changes or training.
- Deliver colleague training (including compliance training) in accordance with training plans, working with colleagues from other teams as needed.
- Support Client Directors with colleague performance management, adhering to Company procedures.
- Encourage mentorship and continuous colleague development across the Portfolio, supporting junior Client Director colleagues with their role development.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operational delivery within the Pensions Administration industry.
- Resource management and utilisation principles expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of pension governance.
- P&L and budget management experience.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients and members.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by employers, trustees, and members.
- Effective leadership skills, influencing and motivating others.
- Solutions-focused and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - both internally and externally.
- Strong planning and organisational abilities, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on experience.
