Job Title: Educational Psychologist Position
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team at PPR Social Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality educational psychology services to children and young people with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out assessments with individual children and young people to identify barriers to learning.
- Deliver a high-quality educational psychology service to the local authority by completing EP contributions to statutory assessments within given timelines.
- Lead Joint Problem-solving and Team Around the Child meetings to develop effective interventions.
- Work at a systems level with schools and educational settings to identify barriers to learning and plan effective ways of removing or reducing these barriers.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Educational Psychology at Masters Level or working in final year towards doctorate qualification in Educational Psychology.
- Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
- Good Honors degree in psychology or equivalent recognized by the British Psychological Society.
