Procurement Specialist

Anderson Knight is currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role involves sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that our purchasing strategies support the company's operational and strategic goals.

• Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships to secure the best value for the company.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and supply chain developments.
• Purchase Order Management: Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing shortages or overstock situations.
• Supplier Performance Analysis: Review and analyse supplier performance, addressing any issues and working towards continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop effective purchasing strategies.
• Delivery Management: Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, managing any delays or disruptions proactively.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, and contract details.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and budget forecasts.

• Experience: Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role, with a track record of successful supplier negotiation and management.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and market analysis.
