We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Anderson Knight. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that our purchasing strategies support the company's operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships to secure the best value for the company.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and supply chain developments.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing shortages or overstock situations.
- Review and analyse supplier performance, addressing any issues and working towards continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop effective purchasing strategies.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, managing any delays or disruptions proactively.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, and contract details.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and budget forecasts.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role, with a track record of successful supplier negotiation and management.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and market analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
