Quantitative Sports Analyst Role

This opportunity is for a skilled Quantitative Sports Analyst to join our team at Harrington Starr. The successful candidate will be part of a brand new quant team covering multiple markets - sports and geographies.

We offer a highly competitive base salary and strong bonuses. This role is available for candidates with strong experience in sports trading, with the option to work hybrid or remotely.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least an MSc in a STEM or quantitative subject at 2:1 or above.
  • Comprehensive modelling expertise and statistical capabilities, alongside proficiency in either Python or R.
  • A strong preference for prior work experience in sports modelling in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex quantitative models to support sports trading decisions.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement model recommendations.

  • Proficiency in Python or R.
  • Strong experience in sports modelling.
