Sports Technology Operations Specialist

The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Sports Technology Operations Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the operational success of our technology in live football events.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the operations team to apply software expertise to aid in each matchday.
- Master and have complete command over the entire system and processes.
- Analyse live tracks, validate markings, and provide QA as necessary for all system events.
- Aptly available to work on Second Spectrum game operations duties such as tracking and data delivery.
Required Skills:
- Extreme attentiveness.
- Background working with football refereeing terms or ideally, as a referee.
- Knowledge and experience with definitional football terms.
- Proactively communicative.
- A strong tolerance for repetitive tasks.
- Prior experience making time-critical judgment calls regarding live data processing, and engineering support.
- Enforcement of self-accountability and the performance of a large team.
Additional Position Details:
- Must be able and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess flexibility, including early morning and late evenings.
