About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rota Coordinator to join our team at Sirona care & health CIC. As a Rota Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of rota coordination, annual leave, and sickness across the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet service demands.
  • Process and manage annual leave and sickness requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with nursing teams to ensure effective placement of new recruits within care teams.
  • Communicate with families and stakeholders regarding shift coverage and rota queries.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of rota coordination processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • GCSE Grade 9-4 or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
  • NVQ level 2 in Business Administration or other relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook at intermediate level.
  • Knowledge of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulations.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience in a health or social care organization.
  • Experience of using NHS systems such as Optima, EMIS, and Glasscubes.
