We are seeking an experienced and skilled Children's Community Nurse to join our team at Sirona care & health CIC. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and young people with life-limiting, life-threatening conditions, and those who meet Children's Continuing Care criteria.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake clinical shifts, working alongside Lifetime Support Workers in the child's home or school setting to observe their clinical competencies and undertake annual clinical assessments of the Lifetime Support Workers' nursing care.
- Provide clinical support to the rota coordination team and take on the line management of a number of Lifetime Support Workers, including training, management, and assessment.
- Travel extensively across Integrated Care Board areas to visit service users in their own homes and in other settings, meeting and liaising with other teams and services.
- Experienced Registered Children's Nurse with a full driving license.
- Knowledge of professional agenda and NMC standards.
- Ability to support and challenge in a supportive way.
- Understanding of systems and processes in relation to safe service delivery.
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Equality and Diversity.
- Ability to work in a changing environment.
