Children's Team Leader Nights

SuperCare Residential is seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage operations at a residential children's home in Eastbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a shift, formulating support plans with young people, and promoting their physical, emotional, and social welfare in accordance with the Children Act 1989.
Main Responsibilities:- Direct work with young people, key working, and providing support and care on a shift work basis.
- Working in partnership with young people, their social worker, and carers to co-ordinate, monitor, and review Care Plans, risk assessments, and placement plans.
- Taking responsibility for the upkeep of the establishment, health and safety, and primary care issues.
- Ensuring young people carry as much responsibility for their own lives as possible, keeping them informed of their circumstances and rights.
- Caring for the fabric, equipment, and overall environment.
- Being accountable for moneys allocated for specific purposes.
- Reporting repairs and ensuring necessary actions are taken.
- Ensuring young people eat healthy and balanced meals prepared by staff.
- Completing health and safety checks in line with policies and Ofsted regulations and standards.
