About the Job

We are seeking a Adult Support Services Manager to join our team at Cartrefi Cymru Co.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of care staff and develop and implement effective support plans to meet the needs of individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of care staff to provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Developing and implementing effective support plans to meet the needs of individuals.
  • Managing the service in the absence of the Service Manager and reporting to the Area Manager/on-call manager where appropriate.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities in a social care setting.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and management in a social care setting.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and provide cover as required.
