We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our team at the University of Hertfordshire, De Havilland Campus. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our campus outlets, managing your team, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Catering duties, including ensuring the café is clean and presentable.Placing orders and assisting with stocktakes.Assisting the General Manager in the running of campus outlets.Managing your team, making sure the best service is available to our customers while the unit is open.Assisting with staff rota scheduling.Daily team briefs, assisting management with tasks.Maintaining records.Motivating and leading your team, leading by example and providing training.Providing excellent customer service to the clients and dealing with complaints effectively and efficiently.Serving hot food and beverages.Till operating and cash handling – including cashing up.Requirements:
Previous experience working as a team leader or supervisor in a hospitality environment is desirable.Previous barista experience is desirable.Excellent customer service skills.Retail experience is desirable.Flexibility to shift patterns if required.What We Offer:
