About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our mental health team. As a key member of our Allied Health Professional (AHP) team, you will play a crucial role in improving therapeutic provision within adult mental health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services, ensuring that they meet Trust and professional standards. This includes delivering occupational focused assessments, formulations, and interventions for patients with complex functional needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to patients with complex functional needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the OT perspective is represented in clinical discussions.
  • Develop and evaluate evidence-based therapeutic group programs.

Requirements
  • Degree level or higher in Occupational Therapy.
  • Health and Care Professions Council registration.
  • Desirable qualifications include training qualifications to teach students on placement or equivalent experience, and specialist postgraduate training in mental health/acute mental illness/challenging behaviours.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
