About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team on the Oncology Ward at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a role model for best clinical practice and Trust values, promoting a positive learning environment for staff and patients.
  • Work alongside learners to facilitate their independent learning, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement education programs to support staff and patient safety, working to an agreed job plan.
  • Manage time effectively to balance clinical education and administrative activities, ensuring a high level of productivity.
  • Contribute to an inter-professional learning environment, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among staff.
  • Deliver education programs at a divisional level, supporting organizational priorities and initiatives.
  • Work closely with local and corporate practice development teams to identify and address educational needs.
  • Participate in audit, service improvement, and research projects relevant to the clinical educator role.
