We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Technician to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our data centre operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centres.

Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to provide hardware and network diagnostics, repair, and maintenance services to our data centres. You will also be required to:

  • Provide infrastructure-related support to our internal workforce
  • Resolve HW (Motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU, etc) and networking tickets (Link Down, Optics Replacements, Switch Replacements, etc)
  • Learn how to install equipment, create documentation, innovate solutions, and fix complex problems within the data centre space

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced technicians and learn from them. Our team is dedicated to supporting new team members in an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a 12-week internship program, mentorship opportunities, and career growth prospects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • In pursuit of IT Certification or Technical/Bachelors Degree within a relevant technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Hardware Repair
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment, displaying excellent time management skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred, although not essential.
