Transformational Leader for Bi-Borough Place-Based Partnership

In 2021, the Bi-Borough Place-based Partnership (PBP) was established in London. Our goal is to achieve better health outcomes and reduce health inequalities across Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea.
We are seeking a Managing Director to drive forward an ambitious programme of transformation. This person will report to James Benson, CEO of Central London Community Health NHS Trust (CLCH), and Laura Churchill, Director of Strategy, Partnerships and integration at CLCH.
You will be responsible for identifying and driving new opportunities for service integration, developing and delivering key objectives, and building strategic partnerships. You will work with stakeholders across local authorities, the NHS, health and social care providers, and the voluntary sector.
Main duties of the job:
- The post holder will bring experience of leading transformational change and developing strategic plans from a complex environment, working with multiple stakeholders to effect change and deepen collaboration.
- You will have proven experience of contributing at Board level, engaging with stakeholders, and understanding the broader policy context. You will operate with integrity, objectivity, and fairness, committed to improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Model and build values, behaviour, and culture critical to PBP's success, including people and community-centred approaches.
- Evaluate and ensure that the structure for boards and governance remain fit for purpose, with responsibility and accountability for PBP activities.

Person Specification:
Education/Qualification:
- Master's degree or demonstrable equivalent experience showing ability to understand and resolve complex concepts and practical challenges.
Experience:
- Leading system-wide transformational change in a challenging resource environment.
- Senior strategic service improvement and performance management role in the public sector.
- Senior transformational management and professional experience.
- Building credibility with Boards, NHS Committees, and Scrutiny and Cabinet.
- Understanding Local Government politics and democratic accountability.
- Developing business cases and managing service improvement projects.
- Broad strategic and policy context for delivery of health and social care services.
- A clear understanding of addressing Health Inequalities.
- Change management and organisational development skills.
- Continuous staff and self-development.
- Commitment to improving quality of patient care.
- Creative thinking and high-level communication skills.
Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum.
