About the Role:

As an IPS Employment Specialist at Shaw Trust, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions to secure sustainable paid employment. You will work closely with a caseload of 25-30 individuals, providing person-centered advice and guidance to help them achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach, providing training and support to individuals to secure employment.
  • Build positive relationships with local employers and stakeholders to facilitate job placements.
  • Support participants on their recovery journey towards better health and wellbeing, embedded within Primary Care, GP practices, Community Health Teams, and Job Centres.

Requirements:

  • Experience in IPS delivery, preferably in a Primary care setting.
  • Proven experience of supporting individuals to obtain or keep work.
  • Proven experience of meeting and exceeding outcomes and targets.

Location:

This role will cover Thanet, Kent, with minimal home working required. You will spend 65% of your time working in person in the community and embedding with your clinical team site.
