Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a vibrant and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with diverse needs
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Help students develop essential life skills and confidence alongside their education

Requirements:

  • Experience with SEN (this can be in an academic setting or personal)
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs are a plus
  • A driving licence is preferred, but those without are still encouraged to apply
  • Care, youth and support experience
  • Graduates who have studied Psychology and criminology (not essential)
