Job Summary:

Armstrong Knight is seeking an experienced IT Configuration Manager to join our team. As an IT Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for the configuration and deployment of desktops and laptops running Microsoft Windows, as well as any peripherals. You will also be responsible for utilizing Microsoft Terminal Server to allow certain users to access servers remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and Deployment: Configure and deploy desktops and laptops running Microsoft Windows, as well as any peripherals, to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Remote Access: Utilize Microsoft Terminal Server to allow certain users to access servers remotely, ensuring secure and efficient access to company resources.
  • Cost-Effective Solutions: Provide cost-effective solutions through negotiation for all aspects of the company's IT systems, ensuring optimal resource allocation and budget management.
  • Reporting and Proposals: Provide regular reports and IT proposals to the Managing Director/Partners, ensuring informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • IT Budget Management: Work within strict IT budgets, ensuring responsible resource allocation and cost management.
  • Server Configuration: Assemble and configure replacement servers 'on site', ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • System Implementation: Implement new systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
