Job Overview
Kier Group is a leading engineering consultancy division providing design solutions and technical advice across various sectors. Our team in Norwich undertakes over 2,000 designs annually in support of over 400 projects, making us one of the UK's largest Temporary Works designers.

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to contribute to complex service delivery by providing safe and buildable solutions for both temporary and permanent states. As a key member of our team, you will support project teams with civil and structural related services in Temporary and Permanent Works throughout Kier.

Your day-to-day duties will include designing and checking Temporary Works above and below ground, integrated with Permanent Works design if applicable. You will also provide tender stage and bid winning support, focusing on buildability, efficiency, and innovation. Additionally, you will conduct technical assessments and reviews of third-party designs, ensuring compliance with client requirements.

Salary Package
The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 per annum, including a competitive car allowance. We offer agile working arrangements and the opportunity to work on diverse and engaging projects across multiple sectors.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status. You should have an interest in Temporary Works Design or relevant experience and hold a full UK driving licence.
