Junior Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our process development team at Taylorollinson Ltd. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for supporting our team with synthetic DNA projects, preparing and storing buffers and chemical solutions, performing basic laboratory protocols, and maintaining the laboratory space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support process development team with synthetic DNA projects
- Prepare and store buffers and chemical solutions
- Perform basic laboratory protocols, including agarose gel electrophoresis and pipetting
- Maintain laboratory space through cleaning and inventory management
- Record scientific data in accordance with company policy
Requirements:
- BSc in Biology / Biochemistry, or laboratory apprenticeship, or 1-2 years of prior laboratory experience
- Prior experience in 2 or more of the following: micropipetting, agarose gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, nucleic acid quantification, western blotting, and Polymerase Chain Reaction
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team and individually
