As a key member of the Reactive Recruitment team, we are seeking an Maintenance / Plant Engineer to join our ranks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking responsibility and excels at hands-on tasks.

This role will involve ensuring the optimal performance of our production equipment and fleet. The successful candidate will handle everything from preventative maintenance to resolving mechanical issues, utilizing their expertise to reduce downtime and keep operations running efficiently.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing corrective, planned, and preventative maintenance on production plant equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Carrying out predictive maintenance tasks and providing comprehensive reports on findings.
  • Developing, managing, and enhancing maintenance schedules for all equipment.
  • Ensuring that plant machinery complies with operational and safety regulations.
  • Oversseeing repairs to the transport fleet and conducting routine 7-weekly vehicle safety inspections.
  • Ordering necessary parts for both plant equipment and vehicles.
  • Collaborating with on-site contractors to ensure adherence to Health & Safety and environmental standards.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a company vehicle and excellent benefits package.
