About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet of material handling equipment is in good working order.



Key Responsibilities



  • Maintenance of diesel, LPG, and electric material handling equipment, including fault finding and planned preventative maintenance
  • Pre-delivery inspection of forklift trucks
  • Ensuring company vans are stocked with necessary parts, safe to drive, and meet company standards


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A full clean UK driving license
  • The ability to use customer-facing software to deliver an effective and professional service
  • Commitment to completing a mechanical training program
  • Relevant work experience within a workshop or field-based role
  • A basic understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles

Salary


The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
