About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic to join our team at Care & Custody - A Mitie Company. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare to detainees in custody suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Police to provide healthcare services to detainees in custody suites.
  • Deliver round-the-clock coverage in custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client.
  • Pursue a career within the criminal justice system, aiding some of society's most vulnerable individuals.
  • Provide exemplary care, take pride in being part of a team that shares this vision, and have a genuine enthusiasm for developing clinical, forensic, and broader skills.

Person Specification

  • RN, RGN, or (RMN with dual registration): 2 years post-qualification - Band 5 minimum.
  • Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field: General Practice, A & E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service.
  • Driving Licence (required).
  • Must have RTW in UK, Lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months.
  • All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting.
