About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic to join our team at Care & Custody - A Mitie Company. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to detainees in our custody suites, working closely with the police to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver healthcare services to detainees in our custody suites, working collaboratively with the police to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals in our care.
- Provide comprehensive healthcare assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each detainee.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in forensic healthcare.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered General Nurse (RGN), or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with dual registration, or Paramedic with 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field, such as General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service.
- Driving license and ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Police vetting and ability to work in a secure environment.
