CNC Offline Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Offline Programmer to join our team at HR GO Recruitment. As a CNC Offline Programmer, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into reality by developing precise 3 and 5 axis CNC programs using Hypermill software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop precise CNC programs using Hypermill software
  • Create comprehensive supporting documentation from 2D drawings and 3D models
  • Tackle intricate high-precision components for CNC mills and lathes
  • Address post-processing issues to ensure flawless execution
  • Work closely with our shop floor team to prove and optimise programs
  • Plan efficient manufacturing methods, including jig and fixture design
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap
  • Assist with cutting time estimates
  • Provide shop floor support as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software (Hypermill)
  • Familiarity with complex part programming for CNC mills and lathes
  • Ability to troubleshoot post-processor issues and optimise programs
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and operating procedures
  • Collaborative spirit and willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for efficiency and waste reduction
