West Highland Housing Association is a leading Registered Social Landlord and Scottish Charity, formed in 2000 through the amalgamation of Lorn and the Isles and Oban Housing Associations. Our organization plays a critical role in delivering good quality housing in an area experiencing economic growth, set against a declared Housing Emergency.
Our MissionWe are committed to providing much-needed accommodation and contributing to the development of our communities. Our strategic partnerships with agencies like Argyll and Bute Council and Highlands and Islands Enterprise enable us to drive sustainable growth and deliver excellent services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead key change initiatives, including the review and evaluation of our financial capability and operating systems.
- Contribute strategically to the development of our services and the introduction of new, innovative value-add services.
- Develop cultural and operating principles to drive financial performance and value for customers, customer experience, and delivering excellent services.
- An inspiring financial leader with a track record of coaching, developing, and improving multi-functional teams.
- A strong degree of financial awareness and commercial acumen.
- A professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CA, CIMA) is essential.
- Experience of year-end account preparation and filing.
