West Highland Housing Association is a leading Registered Social Landlord and Scottish Charity, formed in 2000 through the amalgamation of Lorn and the Isles and Oban Housing Associations. Our mission is to provide much-needed accommodation in the West Highland region, where economic growth is experiencing a Housing Emergency.
Our VisionWe aim to become a more digitally led and customer-centric organisation, continually reviewing and evaluating our financial capability and operating systems. As a key member of our leadership team, you will contribute strategically to the development of our services and introduce new, innovative value add services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead key change initiatives to drive financial performance and value for customers
- Develop cultural and operating principles to enhance customer experience and deliver excellent services
- Coach, develop, and improve multi-functional teams with a strong degree of financial awareness and commercial acumen
- Understand the impact of financial and treasury issues on our organisation and develop strategies to improve our financial stability and funding position
- Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CA, CIMA)
- Experience of year-end account preparation and filing
