About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, adult mental health services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of service users and their families, providing a strength-based, person-centered approach to interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, support workers, and lived-experienced practitioners.
  • Deliver a range of assessment and care interventions that promote mental health wellbeing and personalized outcomes for individuals, while promoting independence.
  • Undertake statutory functions of the social work role, including care act assessments, carers assessments, court of protection, safeguarding concerns, and mental capacity assessments.
  • Train and act as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to support the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
