Job Title: Children's Residential Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children's Residential Manager to lead our brand-new children's residential service in Doncaster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children with complex learning disabilities and autism.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home, with a proven track record of achieving and maintaining high standards. You will be responsible for recruiting and managing a full staff team, setting up systems across the service, and ensuring a smooth transition for children when the service opens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children with complex learning disabilities and autism.
  • Recruit and manage a full staff team, ensuring that all staff are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the service meets the needs of children and their families.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the service is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and evaluate the service's performance, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People's Services.
  • Experience working with children with learning disabilities (preferable).
  • Clear DBS/CRB.
