Job Overview

Galaxy Personnel is partnering with an award-winning building company to fill a Senior Quantity Surveyor position. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-end bespoke construction projects, including period restoration and modern new builds.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QS who can work closely with our client's team to deliver successful projects. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and possess a strong understanding of construction methods and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage site costs, prepare and analyze budgets, and identify areas for cost reduction
  • Monitor project progress, ensure timely completion, and report any issues to the project manager
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve queries and discrepancies
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Proven experience in senior quantity surveying roles, preferably in high-end construction projects
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
