We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team as part of our infrastructure development initiatives. As Senior Construction Manager, you will:

  • Work as part of the senior construction delivery team, taking direction from construction lead and project senior leadership team (SLT), providing guidance to wider team.
  • Promote and drive the business' priorities through construction to production, digital & data and responsible business.
  • Understand and formulate short-term plans to deliver to programme, able to communicate with and coordinate Trade/sub contractors.
  • Own safety, wellbeing and quality deliverables for specific sections of the project.
  • Provide comprehensive technical expertise and understanding of Mace onsite Standards for each part of the project, where to find them, and responsible for implementation.
  • Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Requirements

  • A CSCS card (construction skills certification scheme) and a SMSTS qualification.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple large packages of work along with detailed knowledge of construction methodology, process and inherent safety involved.
